Romanesque Church of Sant Ramon
This church, built at the beginning of the 13th century, is a jewel of Catalan Romanesque. It was declared a National Historic Artistic Monument in 1951. It stands out for its sculptural portal, the rose window and the spiral staircase that goes up to the roof. It also hosts organ concerts with a 19th century instrument, originally from Belgium.
Main Street
The historic center of the town, known as “la Vila”, preserves medieval portals, manor houses and sgraffito facades from the 17th and 18th centuries. An ideal route for a leisurely stroll and discovering heritage elements such as Cal Rubinat, Cal Llovereta, Cal Rosell or Cal Mitger.
Church of Saint Mary
Built at the end of the 18th century, it is a Baroque temple with a decorated facade and a monumental bell tower. On the lintel of the portal there is a large coat of arms of the town. It is the parish church of the municipality and a prominent point of reference.
The Factory
Old textile complex founded in 1916, which includes the chimney, the gentlemen’s house and a large pond. It is currently a public park where activities are held during the Festa Major and houses the Textile Interpretation Center and the Agricultural Museum. A space that combines industrial memory and community use.
Hermitage of Saint Ramon
2 km from the village, in a privileged natural viewpoint, there are the remains of this ancient hermitage and a cool spring, ideal for a break. On the walls of the Peny, near the spring, there are climbing routes equipped for all levels.
The Pla Wetlands
A unique wetland area in the region, located behind the industrial estate. They are a refuge area for protected birds and offer good opportunities for photography and wildlife observation. Nearby, there is the Corral de Cal Branca, a space for reception, study and environmental dissemination.
“A walk around the town” route
A 15.7 km signposted hiking route that runs along old country roads and dry stone areas. Ideal for walking or cycling, it starts at the Romanesque church and shows authentic landscapes of the surroundings.
